Michael Murphy leads every project personally — a joiner by trade with 18 years of hands-on construction experience. Backed by a trusted network of specialist trades built up over 18 years.
We erect timber frame panels accurately and efficiently — sole plate installation, panel erection to manufacturer specification, and all temporary bracing.
Once the frame is erected we sheet the external walls — ply sheathing, breather membrane and taping to create a weathertight, airtight envelope.
Roof structure installation — truss placement, sarking boards, felt and batten ready for the tile or slate finish.
First fix joinery throughout — all structural timber, door frames, window boards, noggins and lintels installed before boarding and plastering.
Michael is a time-served joiner who became a chartered (MCIOB) construction professional. He knows the craft because he's done it — and won't accept anything less than a proper standard of work.

For a typical two-storey self build, panel erection takes 3–7 working days. Getting to full weathertight stage typically takes 2–4 weeks. Significantly faster than traditional masonry construction.
We can manage full supply and erection, sourcing kits from Scotland's leading timber frame manufacturers. Alternatively if you have a kit arranged, we can erect only.
